The Belgian Audi Club Team WRT confirms its 2013 racing programme

Belgian Audi Club Press Release

As anticipated at the end of last season, the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT will continue to enter its Audis R8 LMS ultra in both sprint and endurance races during the 2013 season.

Following the win in 2011 and the 2nd position obtained in 2012, the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT will again take part to the Total 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, with the determination to be among the front-runners. Similarly, it will again be present at the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring, where it made a positive debut last year.

Having won the first two editions of the Blancpain Endurance Series (2011 and 2012), the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT will defend its titles in what is the pinnacle of GT3 racing with two cars entered in the Pro category.

In parallel, the squad founded four years ago by Vincent Vosse, René Verbist and Yves Weerts will continue to support the international sprint racing concept developed by Stéphane Ratel and SRO Motorsport Group: two Audis R8 LMS ultra prepared in Belgium will take part to the 6 rounds of the FIA GT Series, a championship that will see in action the world's élite of GT racing and that is bound to attracting a lot of interest.

With such a programme, the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT will be present, once again, in all top GT series, facing the strong competition of other manufacturers and of the best GT teams.

The details of the 2013 racing programme, as well as driver line-ups, will be announced in due course.
