At the end of 2012 it was announced that the Audi R8 LMS ultra was going to receive an update for the 2013 season. At the time Audi Sport had revealed one CAD drawing of the car showing the changes which were centered around the rear end of the car. More can be read about the original CAD drawings HERE.
The actual changes to the car, from a visual stand point, include a much more aggressive rear diffuser, new rear-view mirrors, a larger swan-neck mounted rear wing and a centralised exhaust outlet.
Today Audi Sport Media have released a collection of renders showing a 360 degree view of the car. We have included a few of these images bellow. These renders allow us an even more detailed glimpse of the upcoming Audi R8 LMS ultra update for the 2013 season. The actual changes to the car, from a visual stand point, include a much more aggressive rear diffuser, new rear-view mirrors, a larger swan-neck mounted rear wing and a centralised exhaust outlet.

It should also be noted that these new renders depict the car with the older Audi R8 front and rear lights, not those of the new facelifted Audi R8 road cars. In the original CAD drawings of the new R8 LMS ultra the car was depicted with the facelifted rear lights, thus it remains to be seen what configuration the newly updated race car will have in terms of its lights.
