2.1. Australian GT
The final round of the Australian GT Championship took place on the steets of Sydney. Two Audi R8 LMS cars from Melbourne Performance Centre were at the event, the cars of Rod Solman and Peter Conroy. The cars performed well and both drivers achieved top five finishes during the weekend.
2.2. Brazilian GT
The penultimate round of the 2012 Brazilian GT Championship was hosted at Cascavel. The Ebrahim Motors Audi R8 LMS ultra was entered at the event. It was a difficult weekend as they had pace in qualifying but the races did not go to plan. They finished sixth in race one and lower down in race two.
2.3. Midas Clubmans
The Midas Clubmans season came to an end at Killarney this weekend. Two Audi A4 cars were entered for the event. The Modack Audi A4 was again driven by Kosie Swanepoel who achieved pole position and second place in race one. The second A4 was that of Andre Johnson who raced the ex-Terry Moss Racing Audi A4 for the first time, he only practiced with the car at the previous round. An Audi TT also took part in the Sports and GT category on the day.
2.4. POC
The Porsche Owners Club (POC) was at Willow Springs Raceway this weekend. The event was the second occasion where GMG Racing entered its R8 LMS cars in this Porsche Club series. James Sofronas was seen on track in his R8 LMS.

2.5. Other Audi News
034 Motorsport continue their preparations for the 25 Hours of Thunderhuill which takes place next weekend. They will debut the Audi TT RS VLN SP4T in North America at this event. They were seen testing recently.
Every year Audi Sport hosts a DTM test session for young and upcoming race drivers. This year the driver line-up includes James Rossitter, Tom Blomqvist, Nico Müller, Carlos Sainz jr., Miki Monras, Andrea Sonvico, William Buller and Johan Kristoffersson. The test was held at Monteblanco in Spain with the addition of Miguel Molina and Filipe Albuqerque to guide the test.
GMG Racing hosted a track day at Willow Springs. Among the cars present was the Audi R8 twin tubro which GMG have been developing. The car has bodywork which is very similar to the R8 LMS and it was wearing a new red and white livery for this first time.
It was announced this week that the WRT Audi R8 LMS ultra is now available on the new Need for Speed World racing game.
The Official Audi Sport Facebook page published an outstanding wallpaper this week. It features the collection of 2012 endurance race winners from Audi. The endurance race wins include the: Le Mans 24 Hours, Spa 24 Hours, Nürburgring 24 Hours, Zolder 24 Hours and the Bathurst 12 Hours.
