The 2012 British Touring Car season was mixture of up and downs for Rob Austin Racing, the only Audi team in the series. The car was clearly one of the best in the field, despite it being a fully privateer effort. The team struggled financially and faced a lot of drama. The biggest effect of the financial limits came when the team was forced to skip the Scottish round at Knockhill. However the team was able to bounce back with massive fan support and proved to be very strong. Rob Austin himself scored some very good results in many of the races battling with front runners from Honda, MG and BMW.
Here is a selection of some great photos of the Rob Austin Racing 2012 effort. Great pics from Jakob Ebrey featuring the Audi A4 NGTC racers.
